The Fly-in, Fly-out Flying Fox Heli Hike offers a thrilling combination of walking on the Fox Glacier and exhilarating helicopter flights. This adventure allows you to experience the stunning Victoria Falls, created by the meltwater from the hidden Victoria Glacier. With experienced guides leading the way, you'll explore amazing ice formations, following ice steps cut by your guide. The excursion includes two helicopter flights, ground transport, socks, leather boots, waterproof jackets, over-trousers, crampons, and walking poles. The entire experience lasts up to four hours, with up to three hours spent on the ice. Participants should bring essential medication, three to four layers of warm upper body clothing, sunglasses, sun protection, a camera, a drink, and snacks, though drones and jeans are not recommended. This trip requires moderate fitness, defined as the ability to ascend and descend 500-800 meters over 4-6 hours while carrying a light pack weighing 10kg (22lb). No prior experience is necessary, as guides provide full instruction. A minimum of three people is needed for the trip to proceed, and it is subject to weather variations.
